Sent into A Storm!

This Sunday we continue our series in the gospel of John.  We now come to chapter 6, looking at verses 16-21.  In this text, Jesus sends his disciples, all 12 of them, into a storm.  He actually compelled them, made them go; meaning there were at least several of them that just did not want to go!  And He leaves them alone as Jesus stays back to dismiss the crowds after giving them something to eat.  Then Jesus gets away to the mountain (hill) for a while to rest and pray.  Now are the disciples really alone?  Are there lessons here given to the disciples and to us about God’s care?  3 experiences the disciples have which fall under 2 principles that are so very true of our Christian walk.  We’ll look at these experiences Sunday morning…

See you Sunday,
